Although the Oh-Two problem is currently most severe in the south-west Pacific region, it has been identified throughout the world. In this early stage of recognition, researchers are trying to establish some link between alcohol consumption and addiction to Oh-Two. Early results are surprising. It appears, ironically and hypocritically, that many of those far-right critics of alcohol and drug use are themselves addicted to Oh-Two. Furthermore, the problem appears from the research not to be restricted to any particular demographic group. Although to my knowledge this has not been reported in the media, elderly people are known to be using Oh-Two in concentrated form utilizing complicated paraphernalia consisting of high pressure cylinders, tubes, and masks. Lastly, and maybe most troubling of all, early results show that unlike drug and alcohol addiction, the addiction to Oh-Two is irreversible. At this point every addict in the study who stopped using Oh-Two has died. Some within the research community are suggesting the suspension of the study, but for now the critical nature of the problem with Oh-Two, already in epidemic proportions, necessitates a continued effort.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
