Beer, Sweat and Insects in Argentina...

Flew from Tacna to Córdoba the 19th at around midnight. Got stuck in Córdoba for five days amidst a daze of heat, humidity, stinky hostel rooms, ravenous mosquitos (I've been bitten over every inch) and hangovers (the place is a 24/7 party town, and although I wasn't at all in the mood, if you can't avoid them, make a half-hearted attempt to join them. Swarming with beautiful students, it made me anxious to get back to the gym and salsa classes. Tuesday made it to even hotter Carlos Paz, with its pretty green hills and sadly stinky, polluted, river and lake.

Arrived yesterday night in Buenos Aires. Perhpas even more humid, with a continuation of the stinky hot hostel rooms, but thankfully mosquitos are shut out. Huge, bustling and stimulating, like a Latin London, and the buskers actually outnumber the beggars...

Stories from Colombia and North Peru still being worked on...stay tuned.
